Workshops

We’ve moved! The new farm in Arroyo Grande isn’t quite ready for visitors just yet, but we hope to be able to host on-site workshops in 2025.  For now, we can come to you!

2-hour workshops include a demo, one-on-one instruction, and light refreshments. We supply all the materials and tools needed to create your piece, which you’ll get to take home at the end of the workshop. Read on for the types of workshops available from Farmermaid Flowers.

Bouquets and Centerpieces
Learn floral design techniques that you can apply at home. We will be using fresh flowers to make either hand-tied bouquets or vase arrangements.

Wedding Arrangements
If you’re thinking of doing your own arrangements for your wedding, but you’re in need of some guidance, we’re working on some online tutorials to teach you how to make things like boutonnieres, corsages, and bouquets.

Wreaths
Learn to make wreaths using handmade willow hoops, and a combination of fresh and dried foliage and flowers from our farm.
